Please keep your political and COVID opinions out of this thread.

There is seems to be a growing optimism that Sports will be back sooner rather than later. Neutral Sites, no fans seems to be the thought process to getting our games back on the playing fields, courts, courses & rinks

Would like to hear from all of you what you think the impact of no fans / neutral sites will have on teams & ultimately your handicapping

Teams will still be designated Home and Away as in most Neutral Sites contests, but I think the books will not be providing a Home Field Line adjustment. It would be good to compile a list of Home Field/Court Edges for teams.

I also use a strategy of betting dogs early in seasons b/c it takes the books awhile to figure out teams just like us. I think after a long lay off the Dogs will be barking in the first week or two of games

Also how will no fans impact Golf will Tiger be a force without the crowds cheering him on, will Patrick Reed play better without Fans booing him.

Bet right back with some hockey insights

Tried copying the NHL standings did not work.....

But if look at top teams like Boston and Tampa Bay they have Pretty balanced Home and Away records .

If you look at my Canucks - They are 24-11 at Home but 15-19 OTR .....If they were designated the home team in a Neutral Arena would their odds be juiced? Hence advantage road team. I say yes

Flyers in a similar situation, 25-6-4 at home, 16-15-3 away.

Good Point Erock - I was betting on the Flyers when at home the lines started getting juicy in FEB - but a good reminder...will they be as juicy in a neutral site?

I'm not going to force anything as far as wagers are concerned. When things get back to normal , I will ease back in..
